Should I buy an extension or build a custom module?
Buy an extension when your need is common and an established one fits well. Build a custom module when your rules are unique, when you need a specific integration, or when extensions would add many features you do not use. We tell you honestly which route is better for your case.
How do you keep modules safe for Magento upgrades?
We extend Magento through its supported extension points, such as plugins, observers, events and dependency injection, and we never edit core or vendor files. We also test against the Magento and PHP versions you run, so updates are far less likely to break your module.
What quality checks do you run on a module?
We check code against the Magento Coding Standard with PHP CodeSniffer, run static analysis, confirm the module compiles the way production does, and review the code. Adobe’s own code review guidance recommends the same tools, and the Marketplace review uses the Magento Coding Standard for extensions.
Will my module work with a Hyvä theme?
